Solution Architect

Job Position Summary Description:

We are seeking highly motivated senior solution architect who acts as a business analyst for large scale and complex solutions to define business value proposal which includes defining the use cases and then the associated design. The senior solution architect owns the solution architecture from the early stages of an offer through to delivery to the customer. The role will demand interaction with end customer, account team, pre-sales, services, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities / Functions:

  • During the sales cycle work with customers, RBC's, PLM's from multiple business units to analyze business requirements, define and design the solution architecture.
  • Drive solutions development activities including working with Solutions Integration teams.
  • Act as solutions leader to drive new product introduction activities including knowledge transfer, pre-sale activities support and coordinate with other product owners to drive.

Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

  • 7+ years of experience within technical sales and professional services.
  • 7+ years of experience across multiple service domains: IPTV, HSI, VoIP, Mobile, Enterprise/Business, PSTN.
  • 5+ years of experience with network architecture for the above service domains
  • 5+ years of experience with call center and customer care applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills to present to CxO level management, senior management as well as internediate management levels expecting more technical content.
  • Able to handle stressful situations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, customer interfacing, leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, ability to adapt quickly, positive attitude.
  • Degree (BS or higher) in a technical field (CS, EE, etc.).
  • Knowledge of networking topology, TCP/IP protocol, network configuration, and components.

Desired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

  • Experience with OSS/BSS applications.
  • Experience with software development: Java, Javascript, J2EE, JSP, Web Services, JSON, XML, XSLT.
  • Working knowledge of standards: TR-69, 3GPP.
  • Experience in device analytics or customer care analytics.
  • Experience in M2M or M2M analytics.
  • Knowledge of database,/data warehouse technologies, Business Intelligence tools.
  • Previous working experience with communication service provider.
